Coping with Noisy Energy in Daily Life

Have you ever read the term noisy energy, and wasn’t too sure what it meant?

Or are you not sure how it may affect you?

That’s what I hope to address today.

To best explain the concept of noisy energy, it is when you feel someone’s energy so powerfully that it almost feels like noise.

You might react to it as you would to uncomfortable loud sounds. Or you may just feel irritated by it. (You may even be tempted to say shush.)

So, the next question has to be, what makes someone have noisy energy?

There can be several reasons for this. Carrying internal stress or suppressed anger. Or owning a lot of negative traits can all be the cause.

However, it can also mean there are simply too many people exuding their own energy, in a certain area, that can have the effect of loud noise.

The times I have found noisy energy at its worse was when around large groups of strangers, and it is energy to which I am not familiar.

But it is not always the case. Sometimes people I’ve known for a long time can suddenly develop noisy energy depending on their life circumstances.

So, now that that is explained, let’s look at the best ways to deal with the impact when out of the home.

One of the best ways I have found to cope with noisy energy, when out and about, is by making a vocal sound such as we do when singing.

The thing is, when we are in our local supermarket and we feel an energy storm brewing, the last thing we may want to do in front of strangers is burst into full song.

The good news is, humming also works great. And it is very non-intrusive.

When you hum, it creates a vibration within the ears, which works meditatively, but at the same time it can create soothing feelings within.

It has a similar effect to chanting where it switches on the parasympathetic nervous system and calms the mind.

Whistling can also work.

I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly not the world’s best whistler. When I try, I often just end up blowing out warm air, which doesn’t really have the same effect as when humming.

Listening to powerful music with earphones is also helpful to counter noisy energy. But when we are in busy public places, we also need our wits about us, and blocking external sounds can be a safety issue.

As we all know, everything is energy pulsating at varying frequencies. Some energy can quickly take us down, other energy can be uplifting and energising. Having ways to counteract the negative, and bring in more of the positive will always serve us, and is a goal we should be striving towards for a happier and healthier life.
